Premarital Sex - A Responsibility Or Just a Game?

The wisdom of properly courting a girl has been through to the wind by youths and single people. With modern technology, courtship is done through cell phones and the internet. Because of these modes of entering into a relationship, engaging in a more intimate sexual relationship is not hard to obtain.

Teenagers have consciously ignored the dangers of getting involved in a romantic relationship at a very tender age. This leads them into engaging in premarital sex with people they do not even have plans to marry. Some teens say that it is because of some pressures, pressures from peers and boyfriends. Television, newspapers, and radio advertisements are also influential to these teens since having seen, heard, and read these commercials; they became curios of what really is in having sex. Teenagers think that virginity today is not a big deal anymore. If one is still a virgin before marriage, then they will say that you are old school. Another pressure is from their boyfriends. Boyfriends may threaten them that if they will not have sex with them they will leave them and look for another girl who can give them what they want. How selfish these boyfriends are. Any who can love you for only what they can get from you is not fit to be with you. The truth is that teenagers seem not to be aware of the consequences of their actions. May be they are aware of the consequences but do not care about it. Premarital sex has its own consequences such as getting Sexually Transmitted Diseases like HIV and even AIDS. Teenage Pregnancy can also be a consequence of teenagers' irresponsibility. Here is one thing, before having regrets in the end, it is better to avoid it while it is not late. But for some, if it cannot really be avoided, contraceptives are the answer but it cannot assure you that it is one hundred percents safe.

Sex is not a game. This is a responsibility for all of us. Self control and self discipline must be considered here. There is always a time for everything and there is always the right time for engaging in sex-in marriage
